SPC condemns heinous massacre on school in Nehm
[10/January/2017] SANA'A, Jan. 10 (Saba) - The Supreme Political Council (SPC) condemned on Tuesday the heinous massacre committed by the US-Saudi aggression warplanes on a school in Nehm district of Sana'a province.

Initial death toll from US-backed Saudi aggression airstrikes Tuesday morning on the school in Nehm district northeast of the capital Sana'a rose to eight students, schoolgirls and schoolboys, according to residents, rescuers and officials.

In a statement released by the Saba news agency, the SPC expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the wounded, saying that such dirty acts will not go unpunished.

The international community must bear responsibility for these crimes committed against the Yemeni people, the statement said.

Other 15 students were critically wounded in the Saudi brutal air attack on al-Falah elementary school.

Rescue operation were underway to search for possible survivors as many students were still under rubble.

The school was flattened to the ground following the airstrikes.

It was the latest Saudi war crime against the Yemeni people.
