SANA'A, June 08 (Saba) –The Fifth Tourist Summer Festival of Sana'a is to kick off early in next July in the capital Sana'a.
The festival is organized by the Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Promotion Council, with participation of a number of countries, most notably are Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, Indonesia, France, China and South Korea.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism for programs and activities Mutahar Taqi told Saba that the one-month festival would include a number of artistic and poetry activities and awareness lectures as well as sports races.
He stated that there is a significant competition dedicated to the activities of the exhibition of fine arts, photos, and craftsmen.
The Ministry, in the framework of its support to the Town's Festival in Hadramout province would send the artistic groups participating in the Sana'a Summer Festival to the Town's Festival of Hadramout, Taqi pointed out.
He noted the importance of the festival to promote the domestic tourism.
