Over 110 Ethiopians seized as sneaking into Yemeni lands

Sana'a, Oct.24 (Saba) - Security services in Abyan province have arrested 112 Ethiopian nationals, including 19 women, who illegally entered Yemeni territories by sea, Interior Ministry has reported.

According to the security services, the Ethiopians have been arrested in coast of Ahwar district and referred to investigation.

In a related context, the security services said that 90 Somali refugees including 25 women and 7childrned have arrived in Abyan and Taiz provinces, 22 of them landed on Ahwar coast in Abyan province, while the remaining 68 refugees disembarked on Thubab cost in Taiz province.

The security agencies have collected all refugees from both coasts and taken the necessary arrangements to send them to the main camp of Somali refugees in Kharaz area in Lahj province.

During last September, about 500 Ethiopians have sneaked into the country, while the Somali refugees, who reached Yemen, were 3615 at the same period.
