Victory is coming, President vows
[14/October/2009]

SANA'A, Oct. 14 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh promised on Wednesday all citizens that victory is coming.

In a speech delivered in a celebration on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the 14 October revolution, President Saleh said that armed forces win daily great victories and we do not announce.

President Saleh announced granted the war martyrs, disabled and wounded the Order of Courage. He saluted the martyrs run for death For the sake of the country without coercion.

"As I said before, a new department at the supreme leader office has been established to care of families of martyrs and gave them priority in schools, universities and hospitals", the president said.

As a vicious attack by the imamate backwardness powers repeated in Sa'ada governorate, President Saleh wondered that against whom Houthis defend themselves?! They attack districts, police stations and military sites and said that they are defending themselves.

This war has imposed against the State… the rebels have attacked checkpoints, engaged in a highway robbery, slain old people and displaced women and children from Sa'ada governorate, Saleh said.

"Why do they revenge from citizens?" the President asked.

He said that we receive over 120,000 displaced people and tens of billions of rails appropriated for comprehensive development are spent in this war.

"We did not want to purchase weapons by such billions, but we forced to do so." he said.

On the other hand, President Saleh talked about a constitutional amendment towards a local ruling with broad accountabilities.

He said choose the local authorities' leadership and take responsibility for your actions in the governorates and districts.
