MAHWEET, June 30 (Saba) - The Yemeni Supreme Council of Motherhood and Childhood (SCMC) in collaboration with UNCEIF concluded on Tuesday a training course on raising awareness about child trafficking for 26 journalists.

The course aimed at introducing participants to the issue of child Trafficking and exerted efforts by the government to address them, in addition to indicators and data on child trafficking case, the position of Islamic law and health and psychological effects resulting from this phenomenon.

At the conclusion of course, deputy Mahweet governor Hamood Shamlan
pointed out to the importance of giving attention to all children and commitment to international laws that criminalize the abuse of children.
