MAHRAH, June 06 (Saba) - Mahrah governor Ali Khawdam discussed here on Saturday with UNDP International Expert joint mechanisms for the reconstruction of areas affected by flooding the county last year.

Khawdam pointed out that the rain washed away agricultural lands and caused damages to the fish area as well as infrastructure. Affirming the willingness of the leadership of Mahrah province to facilitate the tasks of the expert in the program.

For his part, UNDP expert said the assessment process will focus on the living conditions, infrastructure and capacity-building for government offices, charities, pointing out to the importance of coordination between the UNDP and local authorities in the two the governorates of Hadramout and Mahrah according to priorities.
