SANA'A, Nov. 20 (Saba)- The cabinet agreed in its exceptional meeting held on Thursday on the draft law of Developing Skills Fund presented by deputy prime minister for economic affairs and issued directives for completing constitutional measures.

The fund aims at developing technical and vocational capabilities and enhancing active participation between all Yemeni economic sectors for promoting technical and applied performance in small and middle-sized institutions and developing work productivity in private and public institutions.

The fund will be in charge of conducting necessary surveys for studying needs of labor markets of professional labors and encouraging training them in addition to applied and vocational training to Yemeni workers in their work's locations. The fund aims also at funding training programs directed to workers while in the work and other duties promoting public awareness over importance of improving skills and promoting training culture in different sectors.
