Yemen calls relief organizations to assist affected people in Saada

SANA'A, July 20 (Saba)- Yemen called on Sunday relief organizations to offer humanitarian assistance for affected people in Saada governorate because rebellion in some districts of the a governorate.

 The third consultative meeting between the Yemeni government and donors, Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi called relief organizations to offer humanitarian assistance in order to support the government efforts to evaluate emergency needs for the governorate.

Al-Arhabi affirmed stability and security in all districts of the governorate.

 He pointed out to the cooperation between the international and non government organizations to tackle economic and humanitarian impacts due to the rebellion in the governorate, saying that all roads to Saada are open and safe.

Relief organizations could go to Saada and offer their humanitarian assistance to affected people, he said.

For his part, the Minister of Interior Muthar Rashad al-Masri pointed out to the efforts of the government to offer shelters for displaced citizens due to rebellion and coordination between the government and international organizations to offer humanitarian assistance and setting up displaced camps.
