SANA'A, July 19 (Saba)- Deputy Local Administration Minister Jafar Hamid discussed here on Saturday with a Saudi delegation headed by governor Hamed al-Ghamdi, who is visiting Yemen currently, and acquainted them with Yemeni experience in the field of decentralization and the draft of administrative division.

During the meeting, they reviewed the experience of Yemen in the area of local authority, the latest developments in decentralization field during the past seven years, elections of governors and future plan to promote decentralization.

For his part, head of the Saudi delegation praised Yemeni experience in the domain of local authority, considering the election of the mayor and governors an enhancement to financial and administrative decentralization.
