SANA'A, July 08(Saba)- Deputy Minister of Education Mohammed Tawaf held Tuesday talks with coordinator of Child Protection Program at Save the Children Sweden organization Eisha Saeeid on thepossibility of support provided by the organization in the area of education.

During the meeting , they discussed the report of joint committee which was formed by both sides last week provided by the organization regarding the implementation of projects and activities related to improving education quality.

Tawaf affirmed the importance of reformulating the Memorandum of Understanding between the ministry and the organization and agreed on mechanisms of implementing educational policy and the objectives of the national strategy for basic education.

For her part, the Swedish official pointed to the importance of benefiting from financial grants to improve the quality of education and reduce gender gap.
