SANA'A, July 04 (Saba)- Activities of the 1st Arab Conference on Environment Legislations and the accompanying scheduled exhibition will start on Saturday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the participation of Yemen and a number of Arab and foreign countries.
In a statement to Saba, Minister of Water and Environment Abdul-Rahman al-Iryani said upon departure that the three-day conference will discuss issues and topics related to environment and how to protect it against pollution.
He made clear that the conference aims at reaffirming the importance of environmental laws and legislations in the field of protecting environment against pollution and finding out integration among environmental, developmental and economic changes in order to achieve the sustainable development.
