SANA'A, July 03 (Saba)- International Federation of Election System (IFES) organizes on Saturday a workshop on public funding for policy of growing democracies in the 21st century.

IFEC's executive director said that the workshop the federation holds in cooperation with State Minister for Parliament and Shoura Council Affairs Khaled Asharif would give a chance for interested
persons to hear about Australian experience and of other regional ones and that great portion of time would be given for dialogue and discussion.

He clarified that the workshop has no thing to do with past elections in Yemen but in how to ensure just contest in the upcoming elections " we want from the participants not to look to the past but to be keen on the future."

A number of IFEC's political funding consultants and academics would participate in the workshop.

Worth to mention that the IFEC is non-governmental organization, working in more than 20 countries and supports building democratic societies, and most fields it works in are elections and combating
corruption.
