Sa'ada governor discusses security situation after war with rebels
[21/June/2008]

SA'ADA, June 21 (Saba) - The governor of Sa'ada Hassan Mohammed Mana'a met with sheikhs and high-profile figures in the province and discussed with them the security situations in areas that witnessed clashes with rebels.

Mana'a hailed the victories military and security forces have achieved in their battles with "rebels, terrorist and sedition elements" and cracking down their hideouts.

The meeting stressed the need for a group effort to reinforce security and stability in areas where those "satanic elements" were cleared out and to prevent any "terrorist elements" from infiltrating into those areas again.

The meeting also discussed issues related to people of Sa'ada and the state's trend towards rebuilding damaged areas. The attendees confirmed their readiness to exert more efforts to pursue the rest of rebels in the area, praising the state for its patience and wisdom in dealing with such sedition that claimed many lives.
