FM expects Lebanese reconciliation soon

SANA'A, May 17 (Saba)- Foreign Affairs Minister Abu Baker al-Qirbi expected the coming few days to achieve reconciliation among all Lebanese factions after they agreed on Doha statement which confirmed to start dialogue among Lebanese factions as soon as possible.

Al-Qirbi said that there is a positive atmosphere among Lebanese factions and that they touched real willingness to resolve this crisis, hoping the coming few days achieve the Lebanese reconciliation.

Upon his arrival on Saturday in Sana'a from Doha after participating in the Arab ministerial committee meetings to resolve Lebanese crisis, al-Qirbi said to Saba that the major outcome of the committee is the statement which was issued in Beirut and agreed by all Lebanese factions.

The statement focuses on three issues related to Arab initiative which emphasizes the importance of electing a president, forming a government and dialogue about elections law which is the demand of all Lebanese factions, he said.
