SANA'A, Feb. 17 (Saba)- Minister of Culture Mohammed al-Maflahi discussed on Sunday with director of Music Department in the British Cultural Council possibilities of offering some music equipment to the ministry.

The meeting discussed means of supporting Yemeni music by setting up a higher institute for music in Yemen.

They also pointed out to the importance of sending off music teachers to Yemen to train Yemeni musicians as well as receiving Yemeni trainees to take part in workshops over music in London to benefit from the UK experiences in this regard.

Meanwhile, al-Maflahi discussed with a team of experts in Project of Developing Historical Cities of the GTZ needs of Zabid historical city for engineers and training for workers to protect it from modern constructions that damage the external appearance of the city.
