SANA'A, (Saba)- Some Yemeni civil society organizations have hailed the initiative of president Saleh to change the political system in the country.
The statements of such organizations said the initiative is an advanced and brave step prevailing other election programs as it will make an important change on the path of political process and democratization in Yemen and open a new era of merging all Yemenis in the developmental course.
They called upon other civil society organizations and political elites to support the initiative which, they said, aims only at making Yemen's reputation in a high position.
The President's initiative included ten points toped by canceling the government and approving only a presidential system, developing decentralization and giving women 15 percent of seats in high posts.
