[09/July/2007] JEDDAH, July 09 (Saba)- Chairman of Jeddah International Exhibitions Company (JIEC) Abdulah bin Maraee said that preparations are ongoing for holding the tourist \"Baldah\" festival in Mukalla city in Hadramout, south of Yemen.
Yemeni Industry and Trade Ministry would oversee on the festival to be organized on July 19-29 in the Cultural Bal-Faqih Center by the
Gulf Stars Company for Festivals and JIEC.
The tourist \"Baldah festival\" would include a number of tourist, cultural and commercial activities, in addition to music and
concert parties, cultural seminars and a arathon.
A number of Saudi, Egyptian, Palestinian, Syrian, Iranian, Pakistani, Indian and Chinese companies would attend the festival.
Maraee said that the festival would show the new tourist side of Mukalla, pointing that Mukalla is the most important tourist city
in the Arab Gulf region.
