The Social Development Fund (SDF) is to carry out(1037) projects with a total cost estimated at /$US80/ million dollar this year 2005.

Based on the fund’s work plan,the Yemeni news agency (Saba) has got a copy of it, these projects are distributed to three categories includes the society development program/830/ projects, calculating /74/ million dollar.

The training and institutional support program/174/ projects , with an estimated cost/2/ million and/800/ thousands dollar.

The micro projects developing program/33/ projects counting up to/3/ million and/200/ thousand dollar.

The SDF's plan indicated that the projects due to be carried out in the educational sector come up to (454) projects with a total cost reach to /41/million and /600/ thousands dollar.

The projects in the sector of water and environment reach to /149/ with an estimated cost ran up to /12/ million and /472/ thousands dollar.

There are/151/ projects scheduled to be carried out in the unit of social protection with an estimated cost reach out to /11/ million and /229/ thousands dollar.

The report showed up that the unit of rural roads and cultural heritage is due to get /76/ projects with a total sum comes up to /8/ million and /759/ thousands dollar, out of which /41/ projects in the sector of roads totaling some /5/ million and /109/ thousand dollar, meanwhile/33/ projects in the sector of cultural heritage calculating /3/ million and /505/ thousands dollar.

With respect to the SDF plan in 2004, the report indicated that the SDF had carried out/1118/ projects with a total cost reached out to/79/ million and /300/ thousand dollar.

There were /969/ projects had already been carried out, with a total sum came up to/76/ million and/500/ thousand dollar, with 87% parentage of performance at the level of the number of the projects and 96% at the level of the accomplishment.

Those projects distributed as follow: the educational sector 401 projects with total cost up to /39/ million and /600/ thousands dollar. 34 projects in the sector of cultural heritage with a total sum up to /3/ million and/457/ thousands dollar.

Some 38 projects in the sector of roads calculating 4 million and/17/ thousands dollar. Thus , 54 projects in the health sector with an amount of 4 million and /168/ thousand dollar.

The projects in sector of the segments of especial needs reached to /65/ with an amount up to /3/ million and /809/ thousands dollar.
The projects in the water sector were 142 with a total cost 9million and 795 thousand dollar.

In the environment field there were 27 projects carried out with a total cost 4million and/89/ thousands dollar. In training sector 84 projects said to be carried out with a total sum up to one million and /637/ thousand dollar.

85 projects carried out in the area of institutional support calculating /2/million and /953/ thousands dollar.

There were also 27 projects related to the small loans and mini projects with a total amount equaled /2/ million and /552/ thousands dollar.
