U.S. soldier to be sentenced in Iraq killing
[11 December 2004] BAGHDAD,(Saba) - A U.S. soldier is expected to be sentenced after being found guilty of murder for shooting to death a severely ounded Iraqi civilian.

The conviction and sentencing of Staff Sgt. Johnny M. Horne Jr., 30, of Winston-Salem, N.C., comes almost a month after the Nov. 13 killing of another wounded Iraqi found lying in a Fallujah mosque among the bodies of several people killed during a weeklong operation to retake that city from insurgents.
