PARIS, Nov 24(Saba)- Two-day Symposium on the Sana'a 2004 Arab Culture Capital concluded here on Wednesday.
In remarks to Saba, Yemen's ambassador to UNESCO Hamid al-Awadhi said that this activity has been done by Yemen's permanent representatives to UNESCO, Yemen's embassy in Paris and the Arab-European Association,in addition to the support of UNESCO.
Al-Awadhi pointed out that the activity aimed at shedding light on what had been achieved and evaluating the activities of Sana'a 2004 Arab culture capital.
The activity included presenting some Yemeni writings and historical studies on Yemen that have been translated into French.
Al-Awadhi presented a study on developing the cultural concept in Yemen and its influences on the development process.
