President Saleh meets Jordanian, Algerian delegates

SANA'A, April 25(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met separately on Sunday the Chairman of Jordanian Senate Zaid al-Refai and Chairman of Algerian Ummah Council Abdul-Kader Bin Saleh who
participated in the 1st conference of the Association of Senates and Equivalent Councils in Arab World and Africa.

During the meeting al-Refai and Saleh handed over letters from King Abdullah II and Algerian President Abdul-Aziz Bouteflika to president
Saleh dealing with mutual relations with those countries as well as exchange consultations on the regional and international developments on top of them the Iraqi and Palestinian issues and the
agenda of the Arab summit set next May in Tunisia.

President discussed with them the activities of the conference that is dealing with the promotion of democracy and public participation in making decisions as well as means of enhancing dialogue and cooperation between nations.

President asked al-Refai and Bin Saleh to convey his good regards to king Abdullah II and president Abdul-Aziz Bouteflika.
