Senate conference delegations arrive in Sana\'a

SANA'A, April 24 (Saba) - Faisal Al-Mosawi President of Bahraini Shura Council arrived in
Sana'a to participate in the conference of the Association of senates and equivalent councils in Africa and Arab World.

Upon his arrival, al-Mosawi pointed out to the importance of the conference as it would allow all participating countries to review its experiences and benefit from other experiences.

Deputy President of Senate in Swaziland Gelane Zwane also arrived in Sana'a.

Zwane expressed hopes that the conference would reaslize positive results to improve democracy in member states.

President of the Qatari Shura Council Mohammad bin Mubarak al-Khalifa who also arrived on Saturday expressed in a statement to Saba his hope that the confernce would come out with good recommendations and decisions that participates in prompting
democracy in Africa and the Arab World.

Meanwhile, President of Omani State Council Yahya bin Mahfoz Al-Monther and a accompanying delegation arrived in Sana'a to attend the conference.

Al-Monther said that the participation of Oman came from its concern to bolster bilateral relations with Yemen and cooperation with member
states of the Association in parliamentary field.
