ISTANBUL, April 14 (Saba) - Minster of Human Rights said the Islamic and moral principles agree with rules of democracy.
The Human Right minister said in a speech in the concluding session of the Democracy in Islamic World conference held in Istanbul that democracy became fundamental requirement in the current era, as it is a key factor for human beings to practice
their democratic rights.
She pointed out to the outcomes of the conference and importance of tackling problems which face democracy as poverty, illiteracy and unemployment.
The three-day conference discussed topics relating to democracy and Islam.The conference was held from 12 to 14 April.
