SANA'A, March 14 (Saba)- Minister of Local Administration Sadiq Ameen Abu Ras met here on Sunday the French ambassador to Sana'a Alain Moureau.

The meeting discussed joint cooperation between Yemen and France in supporting decentralization and building capacities of local authority.
Abu Ras pointed to fundamental developments achieved by the local authority.

He stated that Yemen made use of other countries' experiments in this regard. He added that decentralization is the practical solution for the 3rd world problems.

On his part, the French Ambassador appreciated decentralization in Yemen. He stated that French government would finance during the coming years, the program of training judges, police staff, and local authority personnel.
