Yemen and Egypt discuss security cooperation
Yemen and Egypt discuss security cooperation
[17/February/2004] Cairo, February 8 (Saba) Minister of interior Dr. Rashad Alalimi discussed here on Sunday with his Egyptian counterpart Habib Aladli the security cooperation between Yemen and Egypt.
The meeting focused on the meeting on the international terrorism and its various dimensions and the significant role of international and bilateral efforts in fighting this plague, which threatens the security and stability of all countries over the world.
The two ministers confirmed their keen interest to develop and broaden bilateral security cooperation, particularly in the fields of information exchange, fighting terrorist acts and fighting drugs as well as all criminal acts.
Alalimi showed his ministry readiness to extend security cooperation with Egyptian ministry of interior and to get advantage from the Egyptian experience in this regard. On his part, the Egyptian minister expressed his desire to extend security cooperation between Yemen and Egypt. He also agreed to support Yemeni ministry of interior with the essential experience in the security field.
