Sana'a Regional Conference Is Very Important.

Politicians and journalists as well as Arab activists described Sana'a Regional Conference as fruitful and successful .

They asserted to Saba News Agency that the great deal of participants at both official and popular level besides the NGOs and civil society reflected a remarkable concern on democracy and human rights around the world.

The speaker of Sudanese parliament , Chairman of Arab parliamentary Union Mr.Ahmed Ebraheem al- Taher looked on the huge audeinece as an indicator to the concerns over the submitted issues, particularly those issues, don’t only hold the attention of Arab world but also of the entire globe.

The speaker of Sudanese parliament stressed on the importance of organizing suchlike conferences in the Arab World for deliberating on the means of dealing with current regional and international issues.

Mr. Ahmed al-Taher added “ we have to realize the surrounding perils and assess the situations and put strategic visions and plans.
He went on to say “ some think unfairly that Arab concerns upon the conference issues came under the external pressures and as yielding to the others desires, but the fact is that, the conference provided a heaven- sent chance for the dialogue between the Arab and European societies.

He added that “ Dialogue is required between Arabs and Europeans. Dialogue is an Islamic culture and it is necessary for people to come to the right and logical vision.
He also said” all issues that submitted to Sana regional conference are humanitarian issues, we have our own Arabic and Islamic vision towards them, we’ve also our own cultural thoughts and contents which are based on religious and cultural principles.

Mr. Al-taher confirmed that we should bring up our views and ideas to the others clearly and bravely, as we don’t see democracy as perfect and devoid of any defects or faults , it embodies some negative features.

Thereby , we ought to hold dialogue to escape Arab nation out of those disadvantages of democracy. And to adopt a democratic system which brings about steady relationship between rulers and peoples.

On his part, Dr. Fuad Abdelrazeq, the BBC journalist, considered the convention of the conference in Yemen as an international reorganization of Yemen’s achievements in the field of democracy and human rights.

He said “ the conference represents moral obligation of the whole participaing governments as there would be a literary commitment they must keep on performing it.

Mr. Abdelraziq added “ suchlike conference needn’t to impose the western forms of democracy on the Arab countries, Arab societies features must be taken into consideration.
Asked about the conference’s outcomes he said “ the conference was accorded high significance through discussing the existent issues in the reality, and the results came out in accordance with the objectives the conference held for.

UN representative Mr. Danial Trok said “ the conference is very important and the speeches delivered by the participants were useful and meaningful , furthermore, the conference asserted that there are democratic basis and foundation in the region and this is a real fact in Yemen which hosted this conference , aimed at enhancing the democracy principles not only in the Arab world but all over the globe.

Mr. Danial hoped that Sana’a declaration will help in consolidating the democracy experience in the region.

The British ambassdor in Sana’a Mrs Fransis MaryGuy described the confrence as very important .

She said “ the signifcancce of the conference lies in the wide participation of the governments, NGOs and regional and international organizations.

British ambassador added” the conference is sending clear message to all people around the world that we’re able to make the decisions which serve the humankind all over the globe”.
