WB support to Yemeni judiciary discussed
[17 December 2003] SANA'A, Dec 17 (Saba) - Minister of Justice Adnan Al-Jafri held official talks Wednesday with representative of the World Bank Robert Hindle on the WB's support for efforts to streamline the Yemeni judiciary.
The minister gave the WB's official an account on the progress of judicial reforms and plans of future reforms as asserted by the communiqué of the 1st Judicial Conference held last Monday in Sana'a.
Hindle pledged further assistance for streamlining judiciary to become one of the attractions for investment.
The minister also met the Dutch Ambassador to Yemen, B. J. Ronhaar and talked with him on the Dutch assistance to Yemen in areas of shoring up judiciary.
