More than 574 coalition's violations of cease-fire in Hodeidah over past 72 hours : Army
[10/February/2019] SANAA, Feb. 10 (Saba) - Spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, on Saturday confirmed that the mercenaries of the saudi-led aggression coalition continue their intensive violations of the cease-fire in Hodeidah.

"They targeted residential areas, farms, houses of citizens, as well positions of army positions and popular forces," he affirmed.

"They committed 574 violations of the agreement over the last 72 hours," said in a statement to Saba .

He said that within the last 48 hours, the enemy warplanes launched 59 raids on different provinces.

He said that the heroes of the army, supported by popular forces, repelled the mercenaries' infiltration towards the positions of army and popular forces at the location of Tala in Boka and foiled another infiltration towards Homra in Lahj.

In respond to the escalation of the enemy, he said that the army and the popular forces launched five offensive operations targeted the positions of mercenaries aggression, including an offensive in Taiz and another towards Jabal Qashan in the Directorate of Khab Wa Shaaf, during of which they were able to liberate the 12 hilltops in the head of Mount Qashan and tightened control there.

He pointed to another operation carried out to the east of Jabal al-Nar Harhad.

During the last attack, the army imposed full control on twenty sites and villages, including Rami, Soudi hilltops and the village of Shilila.

He added: "An offensive operation took place in Jawf and a similar operation in Harad, during which the army imposed full control on Shurta point."

He explained that the army fighters carried out three raids targeting the sites and gatherings of the mercenaries in Mouraba Shabakah and Shurfa, off Jizan, in Sawh off Najran and in Qarha and Saha area in Bayda.

They also carried out six successful operations targeting the locations, gatherings and movements of the mercenaries in the Dhareeba mountain off Jizan.

Other attacks targeted the enemy's sites in Al-Ajashr and in Astar and Masloub, Jawf, and in Al-Sudais and in Al-Suh opposite Najran.

Brigadier General Sarie confirmed that the aggression and its mercenaries suffered losses of lives and equipment.

He affirmed that more than 52 saudi soldiers and mercenaries belonging to the coalition trooops were killed by the army.

"Our fighters, thanks to God, managed to drop two reconnaissance planes in Jarah valley, off Jizan, and in Madfona in Malahiz," he said.
A military vehicle loaded with mercenaries were destroyed in Ajasher, two others in Yatama and Khalifeen.

Two other military vehicles and an enemy pick-up were destroyed in Sawh, off Najran.

Another pick-up loaded with mercenaries was destroyed in Dhariba mount, off Jizan, he said.
