FM discusses UNICEF's role in mitigating aggression effects on Yemen

SANA'A, March 11 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met on Sunday with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Resident Representative in Yemen, Meritxell Relano.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen the UNICEF's role in mitigating the effects of the Saudi-led aggression coalition and all-out blockade imposed on Yemen, as well as supporting the social security project.

The minister emphasized the active role of the humanitarian offices and programs in Yemen.

He confirmed the ministry's keenness to provide all necessary facilities to ensure the success of tasks of UNICEF and all other international organizations operating in Yemen.
