SANA'A, March 7 (Saba) – President of the Supreme Political Council Saleh Al-Sammad on Wednesday emphasized the political leadership's keenness on normalizing situations in Bani al-Harith district of Sana'a province.
This came during his meeting with a number of sheikhs and notables from the district, in the presence of Secretary of the capital Sana'a Hamoud Obad, as part of the reconciliation efforts that the political leadership seeks to apply on the ground.
The president underlined the importance of closing all issues, opening a new page and working together to confront the aggression.
"We are facing a very difficult and exceptional situation, which must be overcome, as a result of the continued aggression and siege that have affected all aspects of life," al-Sammad said.
He called on those who stand on the side of the aggression to return to the national ranks in order to unite the word and to achieve reconciliation between the people of the one country.
The president considered the meeting a base for starting to overcome the disputes that happened in the other districts and provinces because of the recent events and move to confront the aggression.
Concluding his speech, the president said "Praise be to Allah, the problems and differences have ended. We will return to construction, confronting the aggression and establishing the security and stability of the Yemeni people."
