FM meets Iranian acting ambassador in Yemen
[29/March/2017]

SANA'A, March 29 (Saba) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf Abdullah, met here in the capital Sana'a with the Iranian acting ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Farhat.

The officials discussed the military escalation by the countries of aggression against Yemen's Red Sea coast and the threat of closing Hodeidah port and turning the port into a military zone.

The meeting reviewed the human rights violations committed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition against the Yemeni civilians, as well as the destruction of infrastructure and health facilities, and the illegal practices of Riyadh's agents who prevented the payment of the state employees' salaries.

The Iranian acting ambassador reaffirmed his country's solidarity to the Yemeni people and its support for peace and political settlement to stop the aggression war and lift the siege on Yemen.
