FM meets newly-appointed UN official in Yemen
[05/March/2017]

SANA'A, March 05 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah on Sunday met with newly-appointed Resident Representative of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Al-Obaid Ahmed Al-Obaid in the capital of Sana'a.

At the meeting, the UN official presented his credentials to minister Sharaf.
The minister briefed the UN official of war crimes that have been committed against the Yemeni people by the Saudi aggression coalition since March 26, 2015.
The minister denied reports circulated by aggression media about recreating children, reaffirming that the Yemeni National Salvation Government is committed to international laws and that Yemen is full of men who are responsible to defend the nation.
The minister strongly rejected using civilians as a human shield by Saudi aggression forces.
The minister invited UN officials and humanitarian agencies to visit Yemen to closely inspect the Saudi war crimes against Yemeni civilians.
