Human Rights Minister meets Russian chargé d'affaires

SANA'A, Jan. 09 (Saba) - Minister of Human Rights Alya Faisal Abdul Latif, met with Russian chargé d'affaires in Sana'a.

The meeting occurred on Sunday.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the aid that Russia can provides to the Yemeni people Russia in the humanitarian and relief fields.

At the meeting, the minster touched upon several human rights related issues, especially, the humanitarian relief works needed by the Yemeni people, who is suffering from the all-out siege imposed by the Saudi aggression.

She also said the Saudi aggression and siege against the Yemeni people forced more than 3.5 million people to fled their houses which requires a lot of support from Yemen's friendly countries.

For his part, the Russian chargé d'affaires expressed his country's readiness to provide humanitarian and relief assistance which will alleviate human suffering of the Yemeni people.
