Yemen's Forex reserves reach $ 4.6 by end of 2014

SANA'A, Feb. 19 (Saba) - Yemen's foreign exchange reserves amounted to about $ 4.6 billion by end of December 2014, according to a report issued by the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY).

The reserves recorded a slight growth of $ 11.4 million in November of the same year, the bank said.

The bank added that it had covered the import bill of petroleum products and basic food stuffs during December 2014 with more than $ 287 million.

The report revealed that the bank's total budget showed a decrease estimated at 93 billion riyals, reaching 2.41 trillion riyals at the end of December.
