Chinese company to improve fishery sector in Socotra

SOCOTRA, Jan. 19 (Saba) ľ Minister of Fisheries Wealth Resources Fahd Kifain, along with the governor of Socotra Saeed Bahaqibah, discussed on Monday with Chinese businessmen supporting fisheries establishments in Socotra.

They discussed contributions of the China Harbour Company to supporting fisheries sector in the governorate, mainly the fish port and other fish related projects.

The Minister affirmed readiness of his ministry to provide all facilitations for the company in order to invest in this field to be improved.

The Chinese delegation made clear that the company will study the important projects to be supported, valuing keenness of the Minister to implement fish projects for serving fishermen and increasing fish production.
