Saudi ambassador reveals $ 54 mln food aid to Yemen

SANA'A, Dec.01 (Saba) – The Saudi ambassador to Yemen Mohamed al-Jaber revealed on Monday that there are royal directives to provide a $ 54 million food aid for about 45,000 Yemeni families.

During his meeting with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohamed al-Maitami, al-Jaber confirmed the kingdom's readiness to continue providing the necessary support to promote the paths of development and stability in Yemen.

Al-Jaber pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands by Yemen to ensure the success of the transitional phase based on the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the Peace and National Partnership Agreement.

In this regard, the minister al-Maitami highly valued the Kingdom's role in support of Yemen at different levels.
