SANA'A, Nov. 17 (Saba) - President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi decorated on Monday Chinese ambassador to Yemen Chang Hua with the Unity Medal for the efforts he has made during his diplomatic term in Yemen.
During his meeting with the Chinese ambassador, whose diplomatic tenure in Yemen has expired, the President expressed his appreciation of the efforts made by the ambassador that resulted in expanding the cooperation relations between the two friendly countries in different fields.
He also highly valued the Chinese support to Yemen in various fields and at different circumstances whether at the mutual levels or through the Group of ten countries sponsoring the GCC initiative.
The President also confirmed on the depth of relations between Yemen and China since the eruption of September and October revolutions.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador confirmed his country's continued support for the efforts of President Hadi along with the Yemeni government in order to complete the remaining tasks of the transitional phase in accordance the GCC-brokered deal and the Peace and National Partnership Agreement (PNPA), which is based on the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC).
Hua said that the Chinese-Yemeni cooperation would be further developed in the future, particularly in the implementation of several projects in transport, electricity and technical education and vocational training, cultural and sports areas, adding that the Chinese-funded Grand National Library in Sana'a will be inaugurated in the next year.
