[29/October/2014]

SANA'A, Oct. 29 (Saba) - The Brussels Conference on Restorative Justice in Yemen is a real opportunity to achieve an all-inclusive national reconciliation, the Global Network for Right and Development's (GNRD) President Loai Deeb has said.

The conference, to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 30 October - 6 November, aims to reach a national reconciliation that assists to create a stable political climate for implementing the National Dialogue Conference's (NDC) outcomes as well as the Peace and Partnership Agreement signed late in September by all political forces and Ansarallah group.

More than 30 participants, representing various political parties and civil society organizations in Yemen, along with international specialists in conflict resolution, will take part in the Conference to kick off on Thursday. They will discuss several issues and topics related to the achievement of national reconciliation via the restorative justice in order to avoid armed conflicts in the country, Deeb said.

He called on all regional and international parties to exert more efforts to enhance the security and stability of Yemen and create an appropriate political climate for implementing the outcomes of NDC and hold referendum on a new constitution as well.
