Yemen to become 160th member of WTO in June
[31/May/2014] SANA'A, May 31 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Dr. Saad al-Din Bin Talib pointed out that Yemen would become the 160th member state of the World Trade Organization (WTO) next June.

Bin Talib returned to Sana'a on Saturday, after a visit to the city of Geneva, during which he delivered the instrument of ratification for the protocol of Yemen's accession to the officials in the Organization.

Speaking to Saba, Bin Taleb considered that a great achievement in the march of economic reforms.

"Yemen is on the cusp of an important structural evolution", said Bin Taleb.

He pointed out that Yemen's accession to the organization is part of that evolution, which would enable it to increase investment, create jobs and achieve the rapid economic growth and integration into the world economy.
