Yemen sells 1.4 m barrels of Masila crude to Unipec
[06/April/2014]

SANA'A, April 06 (Saba) - The Supreme Committee on Crude Oil Marketing approved on Sunday selling 1.4 million barrels of Masila crude oil to Unipec Petroleum Company.

Chaired by Prime Minister and the Committee's head Mohammed Salem Basindwa, the committee endorsed selling the whole quantity of Masila crude oil for loading in June 2014 for a premium of $1.62 per barrel to dated Brent to Unipec Company, which has placed the best bid.

During its monthly meeting, the committee endorsed the Masila and Marib's crude oil sales of June 2014, with estimated quantity reaches 2.9 million barrels.

The committee approved the available estimated quantity of Marib crude (1.5 million barrels) to Aden Refinery Company at the dated Brent price (without any discount or rise) to be earmarked for the domestic market.
