FM meets with HRW delegation

SANA'A, Jan. 14 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Baker al-Qirbi met here on Tuesday with a delegation of Human Rights Watch headed by Senior Researcher Letta Taylor.

During the meeting, they discussed the challenges that Yemen faces in the counterterrorism and the importance of the efforts of all governmental bodies, local and international non-governmental organizations in this aspect with the confirmation of Yemen’s commitment to international conventions and human rights.

They reviewed Yemen’s efforts regarding Yemeni detainees held in Bagram and Guantanamo Bays and the role of international organizations in this regard.
