Parliament’s Speaker meets with Chinese ambassador

SANA’A, Dec.26 (Saba)- Speaker of the Parliament Yahya al-Raei met Wednesday with Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Zhang Hua.

During the meeting, they reviewed a number of issues of common concern, particularly strengthening the bonds of friendship relations and bilateral cooperation between the two countries so as to serve the Yemeni and Chinese peoples.

Al-Raei welcomed the Chinese businessmen and companies to invest in Yemen, pointing to the advantages and facilities offered by the Yemeni laws in this area.

He indicated to the old Yemeni - Chinese relations, which are constantly evolving, and to the touches of Chinese technicians and workers ,which are clearly marked in several places of the Yemeni homeland.

For his part, the Chinese diplomat said that the Yemeni - Chinese relations are growing and evolving continuously to serve the aspirations of both Yemeni and Chinese peoples

The ambassador presented an additional explain to al-Raei on the overall developments in China and its growing political role which aims to strengthening China's position in the international political arena.
