CAIRO, Oct.11(Saba)-The Arab League's Arab Economic Unity Council secretary-general Mohammed al-Rabea has said that President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi is exerting great efforts to lead Yemen through the transitional stage to stability and rapid development.
"The parties and political forces and other influential figures in Yemen should realize the importance of phase, and the need for concerted efforts for bringing Yemen to the stage of political and economic stability”, al-Rabea added.
In an interview with Saba's reporter in Cairo, al-Rabea confirmed his confidence that Yemenis are able to bypass this stage and forget the past and pay attention to the future.
He stressed the importance that Yemenis seek to establish a state of institutions, which Yemen has not known since the 26th of September revolution.
Al-Rabea praised the efforts made by the consensus government in saving the deteriorating economy, pointing out that the corruption has affected the investments and deprived Yemen of many resources.
He revealed that the Council is preparing a study for the establishment of an Arab company for sea transport to link West with East through a maritime line begins from Mauritania westward through the Suez Canal and then Jeddah Islamic Port and passes the ports of Yemen and ends at Salalah Port in Oman.
