ABYAN, Sep 29 (Saba) – General director of Lauder directorate of Abyan province Mohammed al-Aidarous has survived from an assassination attempt by a suicide bomber from al-Qaeda who so called Ali Mohammed Hussain.

According to the website of 26th September.net, the al-Qaeda member has blew himself up at the presence of al-Aidarous and a number of his guards in front of the directorate's office.

The incident resulted in the death of the suicide bomber and the injury of five of al-Aidarous' guards.
