Yemen to partake in heads of Arab supreme courts meeting

SANA’A, Sep.22 (Saba)- Yemen is to take part in the 3rd meeting of heads of Arab supreme courts to be held in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum, during (September 23-25).

Judge Mohamed al-Badri, Deputy Head of the Supreme Court and head of Yemeni delegation to the meeting, told Saba that the meeting will address a number of themes, the most notably are the fair trial between contemporary legislations and the provisions of Islamic law, electronic information systems, suit of cyber crimes ,money laundering crimes and cross-border crimes.

The meeting will also discuss standardizing of Arab terminology within the framework of Arab supreme courts to achieve the unity of performance and to find a common formula among the various Arab high courts, Judge al-Badri added.
