EU reiterates readiness to support political process in Yemen

SANA'A, Sep. 16 (Saba) - European Union (EU) ambassador reiterated on Sunday the EU readiness to present all aid required to support the political process, development and stability in Yemen.

During his meeting with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi, Michele Cervone d'Urso voiced his appreciation of all care and support he has received during carrying out his diplomat missions in Yemen.

Al-Sa'adi hailed the role the EU mission has played to support the political process in Yemen and enhance the development and stability components in the country.

On the other hand, al-Sa'adi discussed with World Bank (WB) country manager to Yemen Wael Zakout the details on the allocation trends of the $400 million aid the WB granted to Yemen in Riyadh donor meeting held on September 4 – 5.

Zakout stressed that the Bank's keenness to continue to offer all required support to boost the development and stability in Yemen.
