Yemen to partake in ICT4ALL Forum 2012 in Tunisia

SANA’A, Sep.16 (Saba)- Yemen is to partake in sixth session of the Information and Communication Technologies for All Forum 2012 (ICT4ALL) to be launched Monday in the Tunisian capital, Tunis.

Upon departing Sana'a Sunday, Minister of Telecommunication & Information Technology, Ahmed bin Daghr, said to Saba that the delegation of Yemen will present a working paper dealing with communications issues in Yemen and the level of sophistication that it has reached and the difficulties faced by this sector.

He noted that the session will discuss the latest developments in the telecommunications sector, especially in the information technology and the digital culture, which began expanding its activities in various fields, as well as issues of cooperation between the participating countries.

Bin Daghr pointed out that he will meet on the sidelines of the session with a number of heads of the participating delegations to discuss aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of telecommunications.
