[14/September/2012] ANKARA, Sep. 14 (Saba) – Turkey strongly condemned on Friday the terrorist attack targeted Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser Ahmed and his convoy last Tuesday in Sana'a and resulted in the death of at least 12 and inuring many others as well.

A statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry noted that the assault occurred in the preparation period for holding the national dialogue conference aiming to destabilize Yemen to impede the democratic transmission process in the country.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed Turkey would continue standing beside Yemeni people and would contribute in creating a stabilized and peaceful atmosphere in Yemen.
