President regrets assault on U.S. Embassy
[13/September/2012]

SANA’A, Sep.13 (Saba)- President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi expressed his deepest regret for the events that happened on Thursday and the assault on the U.S. embassy in Sana’a.

"Those ,who did that, are demagogic groups ,who do not aware of the far-goals schemes of Zionist forces, especially those ones, who have authored and published a movie insulting to the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him", Hadi said.

He noted that those groups have exploited the lack of the necessary security preparations, that came in the circumstances of the divisions among the security forces due to the political crisis which has been active in early 2011.

The President warned that such attacks will reflect negatively on the good relations between Yemen and the people of the United States of America.

The President expressed his personal apology to the U.S. President Barack Obama and the U.S. people for what happened today, confirming that he is following the situation very closely.

Saba has learned that President Hadi ordered to form a committee to determine the circumstances of what happened and work on the punishment of offenders and instigators.
