SANA'A, Sep. 10 (Saba) - Legal Affaires Minister Mohammed al-Mikhlafi discussed here on Monday with UN envoy to Yemen Jamal Bin Omar the legislative tasks of the transitional stage, including a draft law on transitional justice.

The minister said that the draft law may be issued in days, stressing that many steps have been made in this regard.

Al-Mikhlafi and Omar reviewed the arrangements for forming an independent investigation committee of human rights violations and a higher committee for elections supervises the preparation of a new electoral register trusted by all parties.

The UN envoy hailed the government's approval of establishing the independent investigation committee as well as the efforts of the relevant parties in implementing the Gulf initiative,
